Recognition of Organization
Recognition of Blood donors and organization organizing blood donation camp is very important in voluntary blood donation movement. Realizing this, In 1994 Eight Blood Donation Running shields are Established to give recognition and encourage local clubs, organizations, associations government offices, banks, hotels etc. to conduct blood donation programs more than once a year in order to increase blood collection and the number of blood donors.
Recognition of Donor
Honors non-remunerated male voluntary blood donors with golden donors pins for 50 times and Silver Donors Pins for 25 times donations. Similarly, female donors as well as Negative Group donors are honored with Golden Donor Pins on 25 times and Silver Donor Pins on 10 times donation to encourage them to donate regularly.
